Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on April 6, 2026.

We at MariMundo are working to make our site, www.marimundo.cr, accessible to people with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that everyone—regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities—can access our professional coaching, team building, and marketing resources with ease.

We are committed to a Mundo-perspective that includes everyone, and we continually strive to improve the user experience for all visitors by applying relevant accessibility standards.

What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This is achieved through the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues.

  • Set the language of the site to support both English and Spanish users.

  • Set the logical content order of the site’s pages for better navigation.

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages.

  • Added alternative text to images to describe visual content.

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast for readability.

  • Ensured that the "MariMundo" branding elements balance visual beauty with accessibility.

Declaration of partial compliance due to third-party content
The accessibility of certain features on this site, such as embedded maps or specific third-party booking integrations, may depend on content not directly owned by MariMundo. We strive to work with providers who prioritize accessibility to ensure a seamless experience.

Accessibility in the organization
MariMundo primarily operates as a mobile consultancy and virtual coaching service. For our in-person team offsites in the Occidente region of Costa Rica, we partner with venues that offer accessible facilities. If you have specific mobility or accessibility requirements for a planned offsite, please let us know during our discovery call so we can ensure the location meets your needs.
